There've been a while since last rockwool germination, but today I got two new seedlings on filter paper and the first one on sphagnum moss!
Look at this tiny fella from paper:
To transfer these tiny seedlings (ones on paper are hardly 1mm across) to soil without harming them, I made a gentle tool, some sort of tweezers:
So this is a tree on paper tweezer

Another paper guy was fast enough to show leaves:
And this new Ficus popped out from sphagnum suddenly. Yesterday I didn't see it in moss and here it is today:

Which germination technique you have used?

How much time it took to germinate this ?
I tried putting seeds on soil, sphagnum moss, filter paper and rockwool plug. The latter displayed the best performance in terms of germination ratio and subsequent plant vigor. Here are details on technique https://flybonsai.blogspot.co.uk/2016/11/putting-seeds-for-propagation.html and the summary https://flybonsai.blogspot.co.uk/2016/12/december-summary.html
DeleteI live in London, UK.
It took 10 days from soaking seeds to first germination and another 16 days for the last plant to germinate, but last few seedlings grow significantly slower than their predecessors.
